One Month Old...

My baby is one month old...

I have not-

• dropped him


• starved him


• made him cry (intentionally)


• hurt him


• lost him
  

But I have-

• cuddled him
  
• hugged him


• kissed him


• changed him


• fed him


• held him
  

AND LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

My life this past month has been nothing but joy. If you would have told me 11 months ago that I would enjoy being a mom this much I probaby would have called you a liar. But what a difference a child makes?? I am happier now than I have been ever, and feel more blessed that I could ever deserve. It amazes me every day how this little guy steals my heart, and how he made us a family.

Weight: 9 lbs, 10 oz

Length: 22 1/4 inches long

P.S we have updates on the kidneys but i will post that later. For now I am going to enjoy my little guy...he's amazing!

It won't be like this for long....

Two Weeks...

So the picture on the bottom was taken when joseph was one week old, and sam (baby on left) was two weeks old! I know it's a little late..but way to cute to pass up! The picture in the middle and on top was taken when Joseph was two weeks old! This week he has decided to up his appetite and is now taking 2.5 - 3 oz every two and a half hours. I am pumping, and it takes a lot to keep up with such a little guy! We also went to the doctor and his measurements are...

weight: 7 lbs, 12 oz

height: 21 inches

head circumfrence: 36 cm

He is in the 24% in weight, 64% in height, and 66% in head circumfrence. He did so good at the doctor, and just lets whoever bounce him around. I am getting used to my sleepless nights, and i have to keep telling myself he really is mine...and i don't have to give him back! He has blessed my life more than i could have ever imagined! We also went to church this past sunday, and he slept the entire time...and i'm looking forward to Easter this sunday, i just really need to find an outfit (for both of us)!!!

One Week Old

Guess Who is One Week Old Today??

WOW! What a week! Joseph turned one week old today, and I cannot believe how much he has already changed. He already looks like a different baby. Some things Joe and I have learned about our child is...he loves to be cuddled, he makes all sorts of funny faces when he sleeps...(i hope to get a picture of that soon), he hold his legs up, grunts, and makes a face when he does a BM and it's hilarious, and he has a great appetitie.

Over the last week my whole life changed. I never knew that I could love someone who I have only known a week so much. He has his parents wrapped around his finger, and we spend most of our nights just staring at him, and taking turns cuddling...and there is nothing better in this world.

Who would have thought that 9 months ago, when Joe and I were coming to grips with having a baby so soon in our marriage that we would be this wild over our baby...I am so thankful God doesn't stick to our plans..
